PERENNIALS & HOUSE PLANTS -- plants with an established root ball of approximately 8-10" diameter, encircle plant stem with 8 pellets (appx 4 inches of pellets) within circumference of root ball. Push into soil. Water in. One spring and one fall application is sufficient. For larger plants, use proportionally more pellets.
ANNUALIZED GARDEN VEGETABLES -- plantings like tomatoes start off with much smaller root ball, so only 3-4 pellets needed per application. Treat plant when planting in spring and second dose one month later, or both at planting. Either will inoculate the root ball.
ROOT CROPS -- such as carrots are usually grown from seed in rows. Place one P3 pellet every 2 inches in the shallow trench where you plant the seeds for thorough inoculation.
P3 Prolific Plant ProbioticTM is “The Natural Alternative to Chemical Fertilizers.”
P3 is the strongest product in this exciting new category of natural soil amendment products. A true “probiotic” for plants, P3 boasts over 1 billion CFU/gm (colony forming units per gram) of Bacillus microbes. Compare that to the minuscule (usually < 1,000 cfu/gm) amounts in the big corporate brands. Its seven proven strains cover four well researched species: Bacillus pumilis, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. Go ahead, “google” them... you’ll be amazed at what these friendly bacteria are proven to do for plants.Read More
